Wolfratshausen - In the evening hours of December 17 last year, a 21-year-old Afghan died under tragic circumstances on the B11 near a drugstore in the Farchet district: the young man was run over by a car and left on the road.
Evidence from witnesses finally led the police to the alleged driver involved in the accident, a pensioner from Wolfratshausen.
Extensive investigations followed, including the creation of an accident analysis report at the original location based on the recreation of the scenery.
In just under two weeks, on December 2nd from 9 a.m., the first day of the trial at the Wolfratshauser District Court is due.
According to information from Andreas Czerweny, head of the Wolfratshauser Police Inspection, three of his officers, including Deputy Deputy Steffen Frühauf, have been invited as witnesses.
Rosemarie Mamisch, judge and press spokeswoman at the district court, confirms on request that the upcoming proceedings are "about unauthorized removal from the scene of the accident".
Extensive evidence is planned.
"Six witnesses and three experts were summoned for this." The criminal judge did not plan any further appointments for this day.
