Anton Linsinger (42) from Bad Wiessee calls for a car demo in Miesbach on Monday (23 November).

He wants to protest against the new Infection Protection Act - and against the actions of the police.

Miesbach / Bad Wiessee

- The urgent adoption of the new Infection Protection Act on Wednesday in Berlin broke the barrel for Anton Linsinger.

“Here, so much power is distributed among so few people,” criticizes the 42-year-old from Wiesse.

On Monday, November 23rd, he wants to send a clear signal of protest: In the district town of Miesbach, Linsinger, as a private citizen, is calling for a demo by car parade.

Wiesseer does not see himself as a corona denier, but wants to critically question measures

Linsinger clarifies that he is not a corona denier.

He knows very well that the disease exists and that it can have serious consequences.

As a person and father of a family, he wants to critically question the government's measures "and view them with a sense of proportion", explains the Wiesseer.

For example, he cannot understand that the children in school have to wear a mask for seven to eight hours.

“It cannot be that we cause more damage with the cure than with the disease itself,” says Linsinger, who expects the lockdown to cause “massive damage” to the economy.

Organizer of the demo speaks of "massive police violence"

The passing of the new Infection Protection Act and the associated termination of rallies by the police now prompt the 42-year-old to act.

Linsinger explains that he is against “massive police violence against peaceful demonstrators” and announces a car demo for Monday evening.

Linsinger emphasized that he had just discussed the protest event with the Miesbach district office as the responsible authority and the police.

"That was a very constructive conversation."

Motorcade should drive loudly through the district town

And this is how the demo is supposed to work: At 7 p.m. the meeting point is on the festival square in Miesbach.

From there, at around 7.30 p.m., the demonstration participants are to set off in a car parade for a tour of the city of Miesbach.

The end of the event is again the Volksfestplatz.

Linsinger announces that while driving, they will draw attention to themselves with horns, lights and calls from the cars.

All of this is allowed after consultation with the authorities.

Linsinger now wants to advertise the rally via various messenger services.
