Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned against obstructing the implementation of the tripartite agreement between Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan on the Nagorno Karabakh region.
Sputnik news agency quoted Putin as saying during a meeting on the Russian peacekeeping mission in Karabakh today that those trying to obstruct the implementation of the tripartite agreement between Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan on Karabakh should understand that the alternative to this agreement is war, pointing out that the settlement issue in Karabakh is important to Russia.
