Tongcheng Yilong (0780) announced the results for the third quarter ended September this year. Adjusted profit was 375 million yuan (RMB ‧ the same below), a year-on-year decrease of 11.2%. Profit attributable to equity holders was 248 million yuan. It fell 15.8% year-on-year; adjusted EBITDA was 499 million yuan, down 8.8% year-on-year.
The company also pointed out that the third quarter revenue fell 7.2% year-on-year to 1.914 billion yuan; if compared with the second quarter of this year, revenue increased 59.5% quarter-on-quarter.
In the third quarter of this year, Tongcheng Yilong’s average monthly active users were 246 million, an increase of 5% year-on-year and a quarter-on-quarter increase of 40%.
The average monthly paying users were 29.8 million, which was flat year-on-year and increased by 60.2% quarter-on-quarter.
The company pointed out that based on currently available information, it is expected that revenue in the fourth quarter of this year will decrease by 5% year-on-year to the same level, and its adjusted profit will range from 300 to 350 million yuan.
