Four years ago, Wanda Dench mistakenly sent a text message to a stranger.
It was addressed to his grandson and was an invitation to Thanksgiving dinner.
Jamal Hinton, then 17, accepted the invitation, went to the appointment and that led to an incredible friendship story.
But this year, the celebration was bittersweet as Dench's husband died of complications due to Covid-19.
