The fragment that went viral from that interview is the one that Maradona talks about his own death.

"Fuck it ... What would I like you to say? Even if you're dead I still love you."

Maradona died this Wednesday, November 25, after suffering a cardiorespiratory arrest in the San Andrés neighborhood, in the Buenos Aires province of Tigre, where he had settled days ago after the operation on his head to which he was subjected for a subdural hematoma.

On October 30, he had turned 60.

As confirmed by Clarín in a world premiere, Maradona decompensated at 10 in the morning and died minutes after noon, after the doctors who attended him tried to revive him without success.

The 1986 world champion in Mexico had undergone surgery for a blood clot in the head in early November.
