The last days of Diego Maradona (60) before his death were marked by several health relapses and mood drops, which had postponed the idea of his doctors to make him return to work little by little.
The diagnosis remained the same as when he was discharged from the Olivos Clinic after an
operation for the subdural hematoma on his head
and intensive treatment to stabilize his mental and physical state deteriorated due to his addiction to alcohol and psychotropic drugs.
Recovery had to be long-term, although everything in Maradona's life was day to day.
Maradona continued to live in his new home in Tigre with a nurse who monitored him 24 hours a day, performed exercises with his kinesiologist to improve motor skills, was surrounded by his inner circle and
received regular visits from his children, mainly Gianinna and Jana

He had been able to escape alcohol consumption, a fundamental issue to avoid a relapse.
The second stage of his outpatient treatment, outlined by the doctor Leopoldo Luque, aimed to find motivations.
