Neufahrn
- Despite the corona pandemic, the pre-Christmas mood can certainly arise in Neufahrn this year: The Neufahrn Heimat- und Geschichtsverein will again be exhibiting 35 nativity scenes from the 1st of Advent until the Holy Three Kings
The Bahnhofstrasse (up to the old church Sankt Wilgefortis) and the market square become the 6th Neufahrner Krippenweg.
Most of the cribs are again privately owned, business people make their shop windows available.
The churches are also included in the crib path.
There is additional information via a QR code
The nativity scenes interpret the depictions of the birth of Christ over 2000 years ago in very different scenarios.
The Christmas story is set in snowy landscapes in Upper Bavaria, in an oriental Bedouin tent, in a UN refugee camp or in the Hungarian Puszta.
The more unusual exhibits include a silhouette crib, a lantern crib or a window crib.
This year, for the first time, additional information can be accessed via a QR code on the flyer for the Krippenweg.
At the opening of the Nativity Scene, Pastor Anna Hertl and Pastor Otto Steinberger will get in the mood for Advent tomorrow, Saturday, November 28th, at 4 p.m. with an ecumenical prayer in the Catholic parish church of St. Francis.
Lisa Webhofer, Georg Rupp as well as Monika and Laura Peißl provide festive room music.
The population is cordially invited.
