In anticipation of the stormy weather expected over the weekend, the Nature and Parks Authority mentions that it is strictly forbidden to enter riverbeds by foot and car until the water level has dropped completely.
The PA notes that it is forbidden to approach a riverbank during a flood for fear of the West Bank collapsing.
Due to the fear of flooding, the fire authority is asking the public not to stay on the levels and elevators below the ground floor.
Firefighters warn that "do not enter underground car parks and levels when flooding even if it is at the beginning, do not use elevators to underground levels when there is a danger of flooding the building, and do not enter puddles that appear to be offenses but could endanger the vehicle and become life threatening."
"Do not enter parking lots and underground levels."
