The inattentive driver was once again lucky in his misfortune: a moment earlier, and the tractor-trailer might have hit his Peugeot in full.
Fortunately, things turned out differently in the accident on Friday morning on the B 318 near Holzkirchen.
And traffic jams in rush hour traffic.
Holzkirchen
- As the police reported, a 50-year-old car driver from Rosenheim wanted to drive his black Peugeot over the Holzkirchen "Spider" from Miesbacher Strasse onto the B 318 in the direction of the A 8 motorway at around 7 a.m. on Friday.
He overlooked the stop sign and did not stop.
The Peugeot's left side of the vehicle therefore rammed the right side of the semitrailer with which a 40-year-old truck driver from Pfeffenhausen was traveling on the B 318 towards the A 8 motorway.
The truck suffered from scratches on the side and front tire.
The car was damaged on the left front side, the bumper was partially torn off and the driver's door was dented.
Both vehicles were still ready to drive.
And the main thing: nobody was injured, reports the police.
According to the police, the sheet metal damage amounts to 6,000 euros.
A traffic jam quickly formed in rush hour traffic.
