Today, as every Friday in the fourth week of November, is a day of shopping - originally American.

But this year it will focus mainly on digital, and as usual for that matter, sellers all over the world have banded together around this sale opportunity.

Despite the promotions, not all of them are considered particularly deep or dramatic promotions.

Benny Buchnik, founder of the Facebook group "That's what I want", commented on the nature of the promotions and said that "this is a period full of promotions around the sales days: this time due to the Corona there are many more merchants in the network, after their physical stores closed."

Anyone looking for purchasing opportunities from super brands, such as Samsung and Apple mobile phones - is likely to be disappointed.

The kitchen appliances of the well-known brands will also not participate in the celebration, because they are in short supply anyway due to the increase in demand since the outbreak of the crisis.

There is also a shortage of fitness products in the world, so in most cases no discounts will be offered, as will toys and other areas.

According to Moran Day, Newpan's VP of Marketing, "We have prepared with work plans for Black Friday and will offer a real discount of up to 70% and that includes a range of products.

For example, Tefal's frying pans will be offered for NIS 449 instead of NIS 1,490 and a Tefal vertical iron for NIS 599 instead of NIS 1,990. "Electricity warehouses offer a wireless projector including a sensor subwoofer for NIS 249 instead of NIS 749 and a 64GB Shiomi smartphone At NIS 489 instead of NIS 589.

According to Liron Katz, Business Development Manager at the Electric Warehouse chain, "Black Friday's sales turnover is expected to be twice as large as last year. Sales hits are: Dyson v10 Absolute vacuum cleaner, BOSCH 7 kg washing machine, LG 43-inch screens and 55-inch Samsung and JBL wireless headphones.

ALM will offer, among other things, a 75-inch LG screen for NIS 3,390.

Uri Lahav, CEO of the ALM power and electronics network, added: "We expect an increase of hundreds of percent over the weekend. The promotions offered this year as part of Black Friday are mainly aggressive on white appliances and screens."

Manny Dahan, customer experience manager at the HI Group, says that "a screen with 65-inch OLED technology is the best seller in the field of screens. There is an insane influx of Israeli trade sites."

Amir Modan, CEO of Bug, says that “in some areas there is a shortage of inventory due to the transition to work and studies from home.

This is a global shortage of, among other things, laptops, along with Apple products, which have always been more expensive.

However, you can still find great deals on peripherals. "

Yaron Ben Eli, CEO of the USHOPS Group, added that "this year we will see real deals in the US, with traders offering stocks that are stuck with them in crisis. While in Israel discounts of up to 30% will be offered, in the US we see discounts of 70% -50%" .

Shaul Salem, CEO of the Pharm website Medilink, says that "due to the Corona, many customers did not buy care products at Duty Free and abroad and will look for them today. In this field, they will find discounts of up to 50%."

The Guilty website also offers up to 70% off thousands of cosmetics, care, makeup, hair and perfumes.
