The health authorities reported

22,806 new infections

to

the Robert Koch Institute (RKI)

within one day (as of November 27, 00:00 a.m.).

As a result, the number of cases known since the beginning of the pandemic rose to 1,006,394.

The

RKI

announced this

on Friday morning.

On Friday a week ago, with 23,648 cases transmitted to the RKI, the highest level of daily new infections was reached.

The number of coronavirus-related deaths rose 426 through Friday to a total of 115,586.
