Grosjean at the medical center
According to information from Canal +, Romain Grosjean would be “relatively well”.
It has been reported that the Frenchman suffers from burns but he is well aware and standing on his own two legs even if he is of course heard from after this appalling accident.

Romain Grosjean is doing well
The Frenchman is not in an ambulance.
He was taken from the car and put in a medical car.
Seems to be fine for the Haas pilot.
Busy departure to Bahrain as often.
Unfortunately, this time around it resulted in a spectacular accident involving Romain Grosjean.
19th on the grid, the Frenchman hit the front rail at the end of the first turn, after a collision with another single-seater.
The Frenchman's Haas literally caught fire, causing a fireball.
Impressive, but obviously not serious since the Habs were taken out of their car, shocked, but on both legs.

Gasly enthusiastic about the race
The French driver confided in the microphone of
Canal
+, a few moments before the race:
"We are happy with the qualification. We will fight to score big points, it should be quite tight with the cars around us. is confident for the race. "

Gasly and Ocon well placed, Grosjean dropped
Unsurprisingly, Romain Grosjean is at the back of the grid with his Haas.
The French started from 19th position.
On the other hand, the two other Habs shone on Saturday.
Esteban Ocon took a nice seventh place in qualifying, still beaten by Ricciardo (6th).
The Normand will be followed by another Norman since Pierre Gasly signed the eighth fastest time on Saturday in Q3.
Great qualifying well managed by the whole team, all to play for tomorrow P7 😋🔥💨!

Ferrari out of the top 10
One and two on the grid in 2019 in Bahrain, Ferrari did not have the same success in 2020. Worse, the Scuderia did not even see the Q3.
His two single-seaters were out in Q2 with the eleventh fastest time for Vettel and the twelfth for Leclerc.
This announces a difficult race for the two Red drivers.

Hamilton, the Saturday master
98. The now seven-time world champion won his 98th career pole on Saturday at the Sakhir track.
Imperial in this exercise, Hamilton was ahead ... Valtteri Bottas to consolidate the domination of Mercedes.
But beware, the Finn could be threatened at the start as he will start on the dirtiest side of the track.
This could benefit Max Verstappen, third, and for once accompanied by Alex Albon, his teammate, on the second row.
at 14:08
The last straight line
Lewis Hamilton is world champion for the seventh time since Turkey and Mercedes has conquered another coronation among manufacturers since Imola.
In Bahrain, the stake is elsewhere.
Hamilton can get closer to 100 victories, Mercedes can establish its domination or conversely, other drivers can come out of the game. We think in particular of Verstappen or Renault, very comfortable at the end of the season.
In the meantime, F1 is in Bahrain for two weekends with two races, before finishing in Abu Dhabi in two weeks.
