Forstern

- Katja Neumaier has been on board since November 1st and will take over the management next April.

As reported, the previous managing director Wolfgang Donig will then leave Forstern.

Both of them have been working for the congregation for five months - such a long time for familiarization and handover is almost a luxury.

Mayor Rainer Streu (AWG) reports that he has received a large number of very qualified applications for the position of management.

"We are happy that we were able to fill the position so quickly," says the mayor.

Neumaier is 29 years old and lives just beyond the district boundary in Markt Schwaben.

As the manager, the town's land-use planning with land use plan and development plans will make up a large part of her work.

She knows her way around - Neumaier worked in the construction department in the Upper Bavaria district before she last worked at the Bavarian Administration School.

Personnel matters, meeting service and funding will also fall within their remit.

How was the start of work in the Corona Lockdown light for you?

"Different," says Neumaier, "but here in Forstern we actually grooved so far in as far as Corona is concerned."

Roswitha Pointner is also new to the town hall.

The 52-year-old has been working in cash management since October 1st.

She was previously a banker at Raiffeisenbank for 34 years, the last twelve years there in property management.

And for the past two years Pointner, who lives with her family in Lengdorf, has been employed by the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising in the department for heritable building rights and leases.

Now she's been looking for another career change: “I wanted to do something with a lot of numbers again,” says Pointner, who now enjoys the shorter commute from Lengdorf to Forstern.

Streu is full of praise for the new employee: "She gives, as they say in good Bavarian, Voigas, so that the cash register is back in shape," says the mayor.

Because this position had been vacant for a relatively long time.

Since September 1st, Natascha Hintereder has also joined the team at the residents' registration office.

There she is responsible for business registrations and pension information, among other things - the relevant courses are still pending.

The 39-year-old lives with her family in the Pastetten community and previously worked for the Erding district office.
