A 16-year-old boy is suspected of committing sexual offenses on minors aged 4 to 7 in the last two years.
The police in Jerusalem located the suspect and he was brought to the Magistrate's Court this morning for a request to extend his detention.
The first undercover investigation was in the information received, according to which the suspect from Beit Shemesh committed sexual offenses in the area and inside one of the synagogues in the city.
During the covert investigation, evidence and findings were collected, as well as testimonies from minors describing a series of offenses of the suspect.
The suspicion also arose that the boy persuaded the minors to commit similar offenses against each other.
