, Maradona's sisters will also put a doctor on the side to assess whether there was responsibility of those who were in Maradona's care at the house in the private neighborhood of San Andrés, in the Tigre district, where the star died on Wednesday 25 of November.

Within this framework, Morla came out to publicly support Leopoldo Luque, the neurosurgeon who treated Maradona in the last time and who is being investigated by the Justice.

"I understand and share the prosecution work, but only I know, Dr. Luque, what you did for Diego's health, how you took care of him, accompanied him and how he loved you. Diego loved you and as his friend I will not leave you alone . You left blood, sweat and tears and the truth always triumphs, "the lawyer wrote on his Twitter account.

"Don Diego" Maradona and Dalma Salvadora Franco, "Doña Tota", had eight children (five girls and three boys).

"Chitoro" passed away in 2015, four years after his wife.

The oldest is Ana Maradona, mother of former soccer player Daniel López Maradona and grandmother of Hernán López Muñoz, who debuted at River Plate in 2019.

Rita "Kity" Maradona lost her husband this year.

Raúl "Colo" Machuca (77), due to a picture of coronavirus.

"Kitty, little sister, I deeply regret the departure of Colo, your lifelong companion. I am very sorry for you, for Sandra and for Christian", wrote at the time on his Instagram account the DT of Gimnasia y Esgrima La Silver.

Diego's other sisters are Elsa (known as "Lili"), María Rosa ("Mary") and the youngest of the family, Claudia ("Cali").

The men are also former footballers Raúl Alfredo ("Lalo") and Hugo Hernán ("Turco"), who lives in Naples.

The day after Diego's death, Morla wrote on his social networks that he would ask to investigate what happened "until the end of the consequences."

"Today is a day of deep pain, sadness and reflection. I feel in my heart the departure of my friend whom I honored with my loyalty and support until the last of his days," he said.

Maradona and Morla, together, months ago.

In addition, he judged "inexplicable that for 12 hours" his friend "had not received care or control from health personnel dedicated to these ends."

He also complained that "the ambulance took more than half an hour to get" to the house where Maradona was, which he described as "a criminal idiocy."

"This fact should not be ignored and I am going to ask that the consequences be investigated until the end. As Diego told me: 'you are my soldier, act without mercy,'" he emphasized.

Maradona, 60, died Wednesday at noon due to heart decompensation while sleeping in a house in the San Andrés neighborhood of Tigre, on the northern outskirts of Buenos Aires.

Diego Armando had been transferred to that place on November 11 after being operated on at the Olivos Clinic for a hematoma on the brain surface.
