The Ministry of Health has asked the directors of health and public authorities in hospitals to stop the cold operations as of next December 2, with the continuation of work on emergency and surgical cases of tumors.

In a statement, SANA received a copy of it, the Ministry affirmed the necessity for all hospitals to move to work within the emergency plan (B) so that the hospital departments expand for the benefit of Corona patients and provide these departments with the necessary trained cadres to reflect positively on accepting all suspected cases and not referring them to other hospitals except after coordination with Central administration emergency room.

She indicated the need to secure admission requirements in the emergency, general, cardiac, neurological and burn care departments, so that they are invested for the benefit of Corona patients when absolutely necessary, while taking appropriate measures to accept ordinary care patients in the rest of the care departments.

The Ministry called for the implementation of the plan to summon the cadres in case of emergency and the operation of hospitals at the maximum capacity and full capabilities, stressing the need to review the oxygen supply plan to ensure the continuation of work at the required maximum, secure alternative and backup sources, and conduct the required maintenance.

The ministry requested health managers and public authorities for hospitals to continuously coordinate with the central emergency room and send the required daily data as soon as possible.
