Today, on the grounds of the Martyr Nassih Alwani Sports Hall in Hama, the Hama Handball League Championship for the youth group, in which nine clubs participated, were divided into two groups.
The last match in the tournament, which was held today in Group Two, resulted in Al-Jaish's victory over Al-Ittihad, with a score of 28-21 goals.
The Norias led the first group after defeating all their teams, namely Al-Shuala, Al-Qunaitra and Al-Karama, while Al-Tali’a led the second group after defeating Al-Jaish, Al-Ittihad, Al-Waqha and Derikish.
The head of the handball technical committee of Hama Salah al-Aswad explained to the SANA reporter that the gathering witnessed great excitement and strong matches, but the experience of the Nawa'ir and Al-Talia teams surpassed in the end, as they won all their matches due to the presence of distinguished players that qualify them to compete for the league title this season, indicating that other gatherings will be held during the period.
