Geneva - Sana
During the first day of the meetings of the committee for discussing the constitution in Geneva, the national delegation emphasized the necessity of adopting the issue of the return of refugees as an overarching national principle because of its importance at various levels, especially the human level.
The interventions of the members of the national delegation focused on the importance of some countries stopping politicizing this file and investing it to achieve political and economic interests at the expense of the continued suffering of the displaced Syrians and their poor living conditions, stopping the obstacles to the return of refugees to their countries and refraining from the formulas of intimidation and intimidation that some countries use to persuade Syrians not to return .
The members of the national delegation also indicated that the measures and steps taken by the concerned state institutions to facilitate the return of refugees contributed to the return of hundreds of thousands of Syrians to their homes despite the obstacles that the hostile countries have put in place to prevent this return, on top of which is the imposition of sanctions and unilateral coercive measures against the Syrians. It impedes rebuilding what has been destroyed by terrorism and securing decent livelihoods.
The meetings of the fourth round of the small committee emanating from the expanded body to discuss the constitution began today at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva with the participation of the national delegation and other delegations.
