In response to the escalation of the US-backed (Qasd) militia, its crimes in the Syrian region of Al-Jazirah, hundreds of residents of the city of Al-Shaddadi and many areas of the eastern countryside of Hasakah gathered to protest against being prevented from entering the city center.

Local sources told SANA's correspondent that hundreds of residents gathered at the Al-Eidan fuel station at the eastern entrance to the city of Hasakah, demanding that they be allowed to enter the city center, stop the criminal practices against them, and cancel what they call the imposed state of ban, as it is being applied favorably to some areas.

The sources pointed out that the state of ban imposed by the (Qasd) militia by force is an excuse to increase pressure on the people, which has caused disruption of their work and made it difficult to secure their daily needs, especially for the people of the countryside.

The sources added that "the people of al-Shaddadi city in the southern countryside of Hasaka have blocked public roads in protest against the US-backed Qasd practices and their demands to release the kidnapped."

Yesterday, the (Qasd) militia associated with the US occupation attacked a number of civilians, including a girl, who tried to cross to go to their homes. They also kidnapped a number of civilians, including women, at the Panorama Roundabout at the southern entrance to Hasakah city and took them to an unknown destination.
