The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced that starting tomorrow (December 2) the free and paid venues for team sports will be suspended, including hard-court football, grass football, baseball, rugby, cricket, basketball, volleyball, and netball courts. , Handball courts, hockey courts and roller hockey courts, etc., to prevent crowds from gathering, and the above facilities will be closed one after another.

The announcement also stated that other indoor and outdoor sports premises can only conduct group training/classes, and each group should not exceed two persons. Regarding the remaining recreational venues, all public swimming pools and water sports centres managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department will also be temporarily closed from tomorrow.

The gazetted beaches originally scheduled to open in winter will be suspended from lifeguard services on the same day, including Deep Water Bay Beach, Clear Water Bay Second Beach, Silverstrand Beach and Golden Beach.
