Weilheim

- At around 5:20 p.m., the police were informed that a 28-year-old German was causing a stir on the regional train from Weilheim to Munich.

According to the police, the Weilheimer walked up and down and back and forth several times in the double-decker car and held a carton of drinks in front of several passengers' faces.

The other passenger just wanted to be left alone

When the man from Weilheim approached a 27-year-old passenger on the upper deck and maintained eye contact and got very close to the 28-year-old's face, the latter asked him to leave him alone and go.

Then the man from Weilheim suddenly pulled a knife out of his jacket pocket and threatened his fellow travelers verbally and with signs.

He also spat on his face and on his chest.

After that, the aggressor went on to another car.

While the 27-year-old passenger from the Loisach Valley (Bad Tölz-Wofratshausen district) left the train shortly afterwards in Pasing, his tormentor drove on to Munich Central Station, where the officers of the Bavarian State Police were waiting for him and provisionally arrested.

The Weilheim resident resisted four police officers, one of whom he spat at as well.

Two officers suffered minor injuries to their hands, but all four are still fit for duty.

Resistance to arrest

During the arrest, the knife with a blade length of 11.4 centimeters was found in the Weilheimer's jacket pocket and confiscated.

The Munich Federal Police took on responsibility for processing the case.

The 28-year-old is being investigated for assault and resistance to law enforcement officers and threats and insults.

In addition, investigations were initiated on suspicion of a violation of the Narcotics Act.

Due to psychological problems, the non-alcoholic 28-year-old, who reacted positively to amphetamines in a rapid drug test, was taken to a psychiatric clinic after a blood sample was taken.

According to the police, the Weilheimer has appeared several times in the past for violent, property and narcotic offenses.

He was currently under supervision due to a judge's order from the Landshut Regional Court.
