Movies starring Chadwick Boseman 1:29
(CNN) -
Chadwick Boseman would have turned 44 on November 29 and Disney honored him in a way worthy of a Marvel king.
Chadwick Boseman, who died in August after a private battle with colon cancer, played T'Challa / Black Panther in the Marvel superhero franchise.
On Saturday, Disney President Bob Iger tweeted to alert that something was coming.
"To all #BlackPanther fans: watch the movie on #DisneyPlus later tonight, for a special tribute to someone who was and will always be near and dear to our hearts," the tweet read.

That tribute turned out to be a new opening credit in the movie "Black Panther," currently airing on Disney +.
The just over 30 second tribute features clips from Boseman and was shared on the official Marvel Studios Twitter account.
Long live the King.
