Hamas leader in the Gaza Strip, Yahya Sinwar, has contracted the corona virus, the terrorist organization announced today (Tuesday).
Before Sinwar, senior members of the organization, including Deputy Chief of the Political Bureau Salah al-Aruri, were infected.
Hamas officials in the Gaza Strip reported that Sinwar's condition was very mild and he was diagnosed with mild symptoms.
However, Sinwar is at risk due to the cancer he suffered from, the head surgery he underwent and the chemotherapy treatments that weakened his immune system.
Meanwhile, the corona continues to spread in the Gaza Strip. In the last day, 2,573 tests were performed and 815 new infections were diagnosed. This increased the number of active patients to 9,627. There have also been nine deaths and the number of victims since the outbreak reached 111.
