After the success of the rescue operation by Jean Le Cam, the organizers of the Vendée Globe are considering how to successfully recover Kevin Escoffier.

Ouest France website
, Jacques Caraës, the race director summed up: “We have a possibility in the southern islands.
We have been in contact since this morning with the building of the French Navy which is the Nivôse which intends to recover Kevin north of the Kerguelen, a priori on December 7th.
They have a long road.
We are in an oceanic desert, so we have to do with sea luck. We are going to put all that in the hands of the race committee, of the president, who will refer it to the jury.
