Suspicion of terrorism in Germany: A woman was killed and several people were injured today (Tuesday) in a car crash in the western city of Trier, the driver of the offending vehicle was arrested and is currently being investigated by police.
According to local media reports, the vehicle exploded on a downtown street, which has a population of more than 100,000 people, and hit several pedestrians.
The local police said that the background to the incident is not yet clear and the public is asked to take place from the scene of the incident.
