A seven-month-old toddler was forgotten last week in a car for about five hours by staff from the nursery to which he walks the streets - and his parents were not told about it.

This is what the Tel Aviv District Court allowed to be published today (Tuesday).

The toddler's condition is defined as moderate-severe, but his condition has greatly improved and he has been transferred to the pediatric hospital ward.

According to the investigation of the case, the two suspects, the nursery owner and his assistant, picked up the baby from his parents' house on a daily basis on their way to the scene.

According to the suspect, they forgot him in the car on the screen for about five hours.

When they noticed this, the baby was in a difficult situation - but Ella was in no hurry to inform his parents so that he would come and pick him up, and he remained in the nursery until the end of the day.

Even then, according to the suspect, they did not tell what happened.

The baby collapsed in his home and was rushed to the hospital when his condition was severely defined.

The toddler's parents tried to get details from the nursery staff, but said they did not fully cooperate and did not find out what happened, so they decided to file a complaint with the police.

The owner of the nursery and an assistant were detained for questioning, at the end of which they were arrested.

Police were able to obtain documentation from a security camera, which she said reinforced the suspicion against the two and shed light on the fact that the baby was forgotten in the vehicle.

The two's detention was extended by four days on Tuesday.

Other nursery workers were questioned and some were released on restrictive conditions.

According to "Before" data on child safety, between 2010 and 2020, 34 children died as a result of forgetting or locking a vehicle.

So far this year, four children have died as a result.

Orly Silvinger, CEO of the organization, said: “Forgetting in the car is one of the most shocking and painful phenomena in child injuries.

It must not be said, "It will not happen to me."
