Some 235 million people will require humanitarian aid due, to a greater extent, to the socioeconomic effects caused by the covid-19 pandemic.

These figures were released by the Central Emergency Action Fund (CERF) of the United Nations.

The agency added that the consequences of the current health emergency will be seen for years.
