The outgoing US President Donald Trump renewed his allegations about the illegality of the results of the presidential elections that were held on the third of last month and challenged the results of the elections in Wisconsin.
Reuters quoted Trump's election campaign as saying in a statement today that she "filed a lawsuit before the Supreme Court of Wisconsin today to challenge the results of the presidential elections in the state, which ratified earlier today that Joe Biden won these elections."
The campaign added that its lawsuit includes four cases with clear evidence of the illegality of the elections, such as unlawfully amending absentee ballot envelopes, counting papers that do not contain the required application, and organizing illegal voting activities called "democracy in the garden."
And the US states of Arizona and Wisconsin formally ratified Biden’s victory in the presidential elections earlier today, in new support for what he has achieved at the national level over his rival Trump, who still refuses to acknowledge his defeat.
Despite its relentless efforts on more than one front, President Trump's election campaign failed to delay the ratification process for the election results in the swing states that Biden won.
