The director of the National Citizen Observatory, Francisco Rivas, and the security specialist Ricardo Márquez Blas assure that several crimes in Mexico, such as theft in public transport, decreased due to confinement and not to a government strategy.
During a message on the occasion of his second year in office, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said that several of the reports of crimes in the country decreased, from January to November.
