The investigation is progressing after the savage attack by two police officers in Herblay-sur-Seine (Val-d'Oise) on October 7.
A second suspect was presented to an investigating judge in Pontoise on Wednesday.
He was indicted for "attempted murder of persons holding public authority and unauthorized possession of a category B weapon in a meeting".
The individual was remanded in custody, in accordance with the prosecution's requisitions.
A third man suspected of having beaten and shot the two police officers that night remains actively sought to date.
Arrested by the Raid
Aged 30, the suspect referred this Wednesday was arrested by the Raid on Tuesday evening at 8:50 p.m. in the city of Pâquerettes, in Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine).
He was staying in a building bar on Allée des Glycines, placed under the surveillance of investigators for several days, the police seeking to determine the apartment with certainty.
He is known to the police for using drugs, theft and receiving stolen goods, as well as for violence.
It was through his wife that investigators were able to trace him back to him.
His apartment was searched.
A 28-year-old man has already been indicted for "attempted murder of persons holding public authority" after being taken prisoner two days following the facts.
He denied having shot the police and taking part in the fight which he said pitted the victims against the two other suspects he described as "berserk" and "dangerous".
A major was wounded at close range
Two months ago, at around 10:30 p.m., the two police officers from the banditry repression group of the PJ de Cergy branch carried out a first check near a garage, in an industrial zone.
The investigation department was seized the same morning of a case of attempted kidnapping and sequestration of the manager.

The officials who declined their status as police officers were immediately beaten up, in an outburst of violence.
Their service weapons are torn off and turned against them.
Understanding that they were police officers, one of the attackers would have launched “smoke them”.
Seven bullets were fired that evening, six hitting the victims.
A 45-year-old major was wounded at close range by two 9mm bullets fired in the leg.
His young colleague, a 30-year-old peacekeeper, was seriously injured four times, including injuries to his leg.
The femoral artery was damaged.
He also suffers from a fractured skull.
He is unconscious when help arrives.
The victims still in care
The Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin, came to the bedside of one of the wounded police officers hospitalized at the Pontoise hospital, the morning after the events, before going to the Cergy police station, headquarters of the branch of the PJ of Versailles where the two officials worked.
“They had a clear intention to kill.
They literally massacred these two policemen, ”he stressed.
