In nine months of an exceptional regime in the name of the fight against Covid, we thought we had explored France from the absurd to its every nook and cranny.
From sorting authorized products on supermarket shelves to the list of trips allowed around your home, including the count of faithful in churches, the bureaucratic monster has shown, crescendo, the extent of its nuisance.
This was counting without the extravagant affair of ski resorts, which one can laugh at, but above all cry, emblematic of a dangerous headlong rush.
The interest of the measure itself is seriously questionable: we doubt that it is more perilous for public health to ski in Switzerland - where strict health constraints are in force - than to walk in our streets to make Christmas shopping.
With this new access to authoritarianism, the violation of individual freedoms is taking a worrying step.
