Experts from the University of Exeter discovered - in the initial stage of a long-term project - several cave paintings from the Ice Age in the Amazon rainforest.
The paintings - located in the La Lindosa mountain range, in Colombia - date from about 11,000 to 12,000 years ago and show how the first human inhabitants of the area would have coexisted with the megafauna of that time.
