The Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health is investigating two food poisoning cases involving 7 people who ate at the "RISE Kitchen" in Blue Tong, Tseung Kwan O on November 27 and 28, respectively. Later, they developed abdominal pain, diarrhea and fever.
They had eaten scrambled eggs and muffins.
The restaurant was opened by former anchor Huang Wanman.

The first case involved two men and a woman, aged between 22 and 57.
They ate breakfast at "RISE Kitchen" in Blue Tong, Tseung Kwan O on November 27, and developed abdominal pain, diarrhea and fever about 11.5 to 14.5 hours after eating.
Another case involved two men and two women, aged between 29 and 32.
They had lunch at the same restaurant on November 28 and developed abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea and fever about 8.5 to 15.5 hours later.
The investigation indicated that they had eaten scrambled eggs and muffins.
Six of the affected persons have sought medical treatment and are in stable condition and do not need to be hospitalized for treatment.
Laboratory tests showed that their stool samples were positive for group D Salmonella.
The Centre for Health Protection stated that the department has notified the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department of the incident and is continuing its investigation.
The restaurant was opened by the former anchor Huang Wanman and focused on baking bread.
