Forced child marriage in Guatemala persists, despite its ban in 2017, according to Karen Dubois, director of the program dedicated to girls at the Foundation for Eco-development and Conservation.
In addition, it denounces that there are alarming numbers of children under 14 years of age who give birth in that country, of which the majority of cases are the product of incest or abuse in the family nucleus.
