Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova announced that Russia has recorded a decrease in the spread of the Corona virus in several regions of the country.
Sputnik news agency quoted Golikova as saying in a press briefing today that “the mechanisms that were used to limit the spread of the virus contributed to a slight decrease in the number of cases of infection,” noting that compared to the first of last November, the number of areas in which a decrease in the spread of infection was observed increased. With the virus from 50 to 61 regions, and the number of regions where the disease continues to grow has decreased from 33 to 23 regions.
Golikova explained that the two Russian vaccines against Corona, “Sputnik V” and “Epivac Corona”, showed high efficiency and safety.
And Russian President Vladimir Putin said the day before yesterday that the production of the Corona virus vaccine makes it possible to start a comprehensive vaccination in Russia next week.
