For Schuster, the only question that arises is which conditions the government will include in the approval: "This is the surprise bag."
Public panel discussion is out of the question for the HKW boss
The action group, which includes not only the Pfaffenwinkel environmental initiative (UIP), but also numerous Schongau city and district councils from various parties and groups, continues to accuse the power plant operator of a lack of transparency.
The UIP asked Schuster several times to take part in a public panel discussion, it is said.
"An invitation in this regard has remained unanswered to this day," complain the spokesmen for the action group, Natalie Gantner, Markus Keller and Hans Schütz.

However, the presentations that physicist Bernd Zellermann showed and explained to the invited guests in the ballroom are not published.

Government gives no forecast
In the meantime, the government does not issue any water level reports in response to press inquiries: It is currently being checked whether the approval requirements for the planned change to the biomass cogeneration plant in Altenstadt have been met, it says.
