A policeman and a criminal died on Saturday morning after the theft of a motorcycle and a chase through the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Villa Devoto.
The incident occurred at 7.10 am at the intersection of General Paz and Concordia, after the theft of a motorcycle and the alert received by an agent who was in New York and Quevedo.
The motorcycle thieves tried to go to the border with the province of Buenos Aires when an operation had already started to stop them.
The police began to monitor the cameras in the area and detected that the thieves were circulating on Avenida San Martín, but they deviated to avoid the controls.
They immediately take the collector from General Paz wanting to cross the Concordia street bridge.
At that moment, an officer from the 11B police station who was at the fixed control in General Paz between La Marca and Concordia, tried to cut them off, but he was run over and killed.
As a consequence of the incident, in addition to the policeman, one of the criminals also dies and the other is arrested on the spot.
The arrested criminal is 27 years old and the one who died was 21.
The senior officer of commune 11B was 38 years old and was identified as Ricardo Hernán González Sueyro, father of two children and with another on the way.
The Criminal and Correctional Court 31 intervenes, in charge of Dr. Rabbione, who ordered that the proceedings and expertise be in charge of PFA.
