The representative of the European Union in Occupied Palestine condemned the killing of a Palestinian child by the Israeli occupation forces in Al Mughayir village, east of Ramallah in the West Bank.
In a statement carried by WAFA today, Burgsdorf called for a speedy investigation and accountability for the perpetrators of this crime, noting that children enjoy special protection under international law.
"How many other Palestinian children will be exposed to the excessive use of lethal force by the Israeli forces," Burgsdorf asked.
Yesterday, the child Ali Abu Alia, 13, died of being shot by the Israeli occupation forces in Al Mughayer village.
