WASHINGTON - SANA The campaign for outgoing US President Donald Trump has announced that it has filed a lawsuit

The election campaign of outgoing US President Donald Trump announced that it had filed a new lawsuit in Georgia state court in another attempt to reverse the results of the presidential elections that took place on the third of last month and ended with the victory of Democratic Party candidate Joe Biden.

Reuters quoted Trump's campaign as saying in a statement that "my lawsuit includes statements under oath made by residents of Georgia that explain fraud in the elections."

The new move comes within the framework of a series of legal appeals submitted by the Trump campaign in a desperate attempt to reverse the latter's loss despite the judicial defeats it has suffered so far.

Trump filed a large number of lawsuits throughout the United States and courts rejected almost all of these cases, as American media explained that, a little more than a month after the elections, the campaign of the outgoing president and his Republicans who filed a lawsuit against Biden's victory suffered court losses across six States in which they tried to compete in the results of the presidential race are Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada and Wisconsin.

In a new addition to these losses, a Nevada court rejected a lawsuit last night submitted by the Republican Party to challenge Biden’s victory. The judge stressed in his ruling that "the plaintiff did not provide any evidence of fraud in the elections."

The latest statistics show Biden winning a total of 306 electoral college votes, while Trump got 232 votes, and he is still adamant about questioning the integrity of the elections and has not announced his loss until this moment.
