First season on the European Tour for Antoine Rozner and first victory!
The French, 27, won the Dubai Championship this Saturday with a total score of 263 (-25) and a final card of 64 (-8).
He was two moves ahead of a quartet composed of the Italian Francesco Laporta, the English Matt Wallace and Andy Sullivan, who had been leader since the first round, and ... Mike Lorenzo-Vera.
The Basque indeed made a last round of fire with seven birdies and no conceded bogey.
A second place alone would have allowed him to compete in the final of the Race of the week.
Pity.
Nice finish also from Clément Sordet, who took 13th place at -18 (270) with his 66 (-6).
Damien Perrier, Romain Wattel and Robin Sciot-Siegrist are in 52nd position at -9 (279) while Joël Stalter brings up the rear at -1 (68th).
"Catch me if you can."
