“Last Sunday (November 29th, 2020) officers from the Grafenau police station searched a house in Sankt Oswald-Riedlhütte. The result: more than 1,000 seized marijuana plants.
Witnesses reported to the Grafenau police station a penetrating, sweet smell near a multi-storey residential building in Sankt Oswald-Riedlhütte. The patrol of the Grafenau police station was able to clearly identify the smell as marijuana. As a result, the public prosecutor in Passau * ordered an apartment search that same night. A key service that had been requested no longer had to take action because the tenant finally opened the door himself and allowed himself to be arrested without resistance.

A highly professional breeding facility with several hundred plants was found on the ground floor.

Both men were provisionally arrested at the request of the Passau public prosecutor and brought before an investigating judge at the Passau District Court * on Monday.
