Police evacuated a protest statue set up near Balfour;
The artist confronted the police
Jerusalem municipal inspectors and police removed the "Hero of Israel" statue, which was displayed by a demonstrator with a flag marking a protest against Prime Minister Netanyahu, using a crane.
The artist Itai Zlait tried to prevent the evacuation - and was delayed.
"If the defendant is under pressure to sculpt in Democracy Square, how is he running the country?", The protesters said.

Jerusalem City inspectors and police officers tonight (Saturday) evacuated a statue in the form of a demonstrator with a flag placed in Paris Square, a hotbed of protest against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the city.
The artist Itai Zlait, who created the sculpture called "Hero of Israel", tried to prevent the evacuation and was detained by the police.
"Police and the municipality in the service of a criminal defendant evacuated a protest in panic and force on Saturday night. Another example of the regime's misery and the Balfour defendant's fear of the protest leading to the end of his rule," the Kreim Minister movement said in response.
"It's hard not to wonder, if the defendant is so stressed out sculpting in Democracy Square, how is he running the country? Bibi, we are determined. Tonight we will all stand in Balfour to save the country from your corruption and madness. Thousands of cops will not arrest us either."
