Training resumed in the two badminton training centers in the halls of the Education Directorate in the Southern Corniche and Al-Bassel Stadium in Lattakia, according to the required health procedures.
Head of the technical committee for badminton in Latakia, Hossam Habboush, said in a statement to the SANA sports reporter, "The number of trainees in the two centers reached 40 trainees of young age groups, which is a positive indication of the spread and good turnout for the game," adding that the exercises are going according to the desired goal, which is to discover promising talents that can Taking advantage of it and adding it to the governorate's national team and the Syrian national teams later after it was well refined.
Habboush explained that the trainees were divided into groups of seven players each according to specific training programs that suit the levels and ages of the players, both technically and physically, pointing out that the training focuses on introducing the game, its laws, transmission and reception methods, referring at the same time to the remarkable results achieved by a number of players and players.
