Another hearing will be held today (Sunday) in the 2,000 case as part of the indictment filed against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The hearing, which will take place in the Jerusalem District Court and will deal with the preliminary allegations of Netanyahu, Shaul and Iris Elowitz and Noni Mozes, who demand that the indictment against them be dismissed because, according to them, there were material defects.
The prosecution opposes their request and claims that there was no defect in the indictments.
Among other things, Netanyahu claimed that the waiver of immunity was made illegally and therefore null and void.
The prosecution emphasized that Netanyahu himself withdrew the request for immunity, and in this way the indictment can actually be filed.
They added that it is not clear why Netanyahu is raising this claim now, close to a year since she announced that he was giving up his immunity.

The prosecution also rejected his claim that the offenses attributed to him in the 2000 case were committed as part of his job.
"The defendant's acts constituted a 'gliding' from the obligated by virtue of his parliamentary role towards the 'forbidden'," it read.
"This is a detailed and planned discourse around Mr. Moses' bribe offer and Mr. Netanyahu's desire to use it for personal gain."
Netanyahu claimed that investigative moves and improper pressure were exerted on state witnesses in order for them to sign an agreement.
The prosecution replied that "after hearing the evidence, the factual picture reflecting the truth will become clear to the court. This is in contrast to the skewed and distorted picture now presented by defendant 1 (Netanyahu), while trending the following pieces of evidence to ostensibly establish a narrative of a lost investigation ... the investigation as a whole. It was conducted in a decent and routine manner, in an effort to find out the truth. "
