A senior Iranian official said tonight (Tuesday) that several people involved in the assassination of senior scientist Muhsin Fahrizadeh had been arrested.

"The planners of this assassination, some of whom have been identified and even arrested by security services, will not evade justice," said Hussein Amir Abdullah, an adviser to the Iranian parliamentary speaker, who was quoted by the ISNA news agency as saying. Arabic.



Fahrizadeh, who in the West is considered the head of Iran's military nuclear program, was killed in the Tehran region at the end of last month in a mysterious operation whose details are still unclear.
