On an exciting day, Mara Gómez, forward of the Villa San Carlos team, fulfilled her dream of playing her first official match in women's football in Argentina on Monday.
Gomez became the first transgender player to play in the first division of the women's league.
Despite the fact that his team fell against Lanús, Gómez lived a unique journey in his life.
"Today my soul returns to my body," he assured.
