The Christmas and New Year holidays are approaching, and in Ecuador, Rosa Bustamante, a mother who lost her son, a 27-year-old doctor, due to a reinfection by coronavirus, calls for awareness and avoiding risky meetings.
Dozens of doctors support this mother because they say they are exhausted after intense months of trying to contain the covid-19 pandemic, get sick and see their loved ones die.
From the hospitals they ask the population not to ignore them.
