Launched in a record attempt for the Jules-Verne Trophy since November 25, the maxi-trimaran Sodebo Ultim 3 suffered damage to one of its rudders in the Indian Ocean.
Thomas Coville and his seven teammates are currently trying to make a repair.
Ahead of the reference time of Francis Joyon and Idec Sport at the Cape of Good Hope, Sodebo was greatly slowed down by this damage (9 knots) and is now 150 miles behind.
