Azerbaijan recorded 3,122 infections and 44 new deaths from the new Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
According to the latest data issued by the Azerbaijani government anti-virus headquarters, the total number of Corona infections reached 178,986, while the total deaths reached 1966 cases, while 2,923 others recovered during the past day, bringing the number of people recovering to 114,841.
In light of the worsening epidemic situation in the country, the Azerbaijani authorities imposed a set of restrictions since the 19 of last October, with the suspension of operations and trips in the Baku metro and the closure of educational institutions, while about 70 percent of the employees in state institutions were transferred to domestic work.
